Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MOQ for submersible heating tubes?+

There is no rigid MOQ. Single units for maintenance and small projects are welcome, as well as batch orders. For custom lengths or wattages, any practical minimum depends on specifications and is stated in your quote.

Can length, wattage and voltage be customized?+

Yes. Tubes are built to order for your tank: custom length and wattage, common European voltages (220V–480V, single- or three-phase), sheath in SS304, SS316 or copper for freshwater, and cable lead or terminal box termination. Every tube includes an integrated thermal cut-off for overheat protection and is rated IP68 for full submersion.

What is the difference between a submersible tube and a flange heater?+

Submersible tubes are placed directly into open tanks, basins or simple penetrations without complex flange hardware — fast to install and easy to remove. Flange heating elements bolt onto a pressurized or closed vessel and suit higher power and engineered pressure systems. If your tank is closed or pressurized, ask us about flange heaters.

Which sheath material is safe for my liquid?+

Copper and SS304 suit normal freshwater applications; SS316 is recommended where treatment chemicals or mild corrosion are present. For saltwater, aquaculture with dosing chemicals, or aggressive process liquids, contact us first — a flange heater in a higher-grade alloy may be the safer solution.

Are the tubes certified and stocked in Europe?+

Submersible heating tubes are CE marked and RoHS compliant, manufactured under IATF 16949, and 100% electrically tested. Selected standard items ship from our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands; custom builds are produced to order with lead time confirmed on the proforma invoice.

What are the payment terms?+

New customers pay T/T with 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. Terms for repeat accounts can be reviewed after a consistent order history.

What does the warranty cover?+

Tubes are warranted against manufacturing defects. They must be fully immersed while energized — damage caused by dry firing, scale buildup, incompatible liquids or improper wiring is not covered. Warranty terms are provided with every quotation.

Selection Guide

Typical Application Key Considerations Recommended Selection Direction
Open water tanks & cisternsSimple installation, freshwater, overheat safetySS304 tube with integrated thermal cut-off and cable lead
Swimming pools & spasChlorine / treatment chemicals, corrosionSS316 sheath; confirm water chemistry before ordering
Freeze protection for outdoor tanks & pipesWeather, automatic control, full submersionIP68 tube with thermal cut-off, paired with a thermostat; see our Heat Pump Freeze Protection Kit for packaged solutions
Agriculture, greenhouses & aquacultureWater quality, additives, gentle heatingSS304 for freshwater; SS316 where dosing chemicals are used; avoid copper for aggressive water
Industrial process liquidsChemistry, temperature, watt densitySS316 build for mild chemistries; refer to flange heating elements for severe media or high power
Pressurized or closed piping systemsPressure, sealed mountingChoose flange heating elements instead of a submersible tube
