Bolt Head Heating Tubes

Bolt Head Heating Tubes

Precision Heating for Plastic Injection Molds & Hot Runner Systems

Our bolt head heating tubes are engineered for direct insertion into threaded holes of molds, dies, and hot runner manifolds. The compact bolt-head design enables rapid installation, excellent heat transfer, and precise temperature control in confined spaces. Constructed with premium MgO insulation and high-grade stainless sheaths for long service life.

Applications

• Plastic injection mold heating
• Hot runner manifold systems
• Die casting mold temperature control
• Rubber compression molds
• 3D printing heated beds• Laboratory & test equipment

All bolt head heaters are manufactured under IATF 16949 and carry CE marking and RoHS compliance.

CE & UL Certified

All heating elements carry CE marking (EU) and UL certification (North America). RoHS and REACH compliant materials standard.

Send us the bolt size, material, site voltage and required elongation or temperature. We will size the correct slip-on or clamp-on heating tube for the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MOQ for bolt head heating tubes?+

These are project tools, so orders of one or a few units — for maintenance, shutdowns or equipment trials — are normal. Volume sets for construction or fleet use are quoted by quantity; any minimum for custom sizes depends on specifications.

Can the heaters be made for specific bolt sizes and voltages?+

Yes. Standard designs cover M12 to M64 bolts, and larger sizes can be made on request. Voltage (220V/230V/380V or custom) and wattage are matched to the bolt size and target expansion, with slip-on or clamp-on mounting and heat-resistant silicone power cords.

Can temperature be measured during heating?+

Yes — heaters can be supplied with an integrated K-type or J-type thermocouple option, so the process can be monitored and logged with your controller for repeatable results.

What information do you need to size a heater?+

Bolt size and thread, bolt material/grade, flange thickness, target elongation or temperature, ambient conditions, on-site voltage, and how many bolts are heated at the same time. Photos or the assembly drawing help us confirm fit.

How fast do they heat up and how are they delivered?+

The design gives quick, typical heat-up within a couple of minutes depending on specifications. Standard configurations can be served from our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands; custom sets are produced to order with lead time confirmed on the proforma invoice.

What certifications apply?+

Bolt head heating tubes are CE marked and RoHS compliant and are built under IATF 16949 quality controls. If a UL-marked build is required, let us know the destination market and we will confirm feasibility.

What about payment and warranty?+

Standard terms are T/T, 30% deposit and 70% before shipment. Tubes are warranted against manufacturing defects; mechanical damage, overheating beyond design limits and improper handling are not covered.

Selection Guide

Typical Application Key Considerations Recommended Selection Direction
Wind turbine blade pitch boltsPortability up-tower, repeatable elongation, temperature loggingLightweight clamp-on heater matched to the bolt size, with K/J thermocouple option
Power-plant turbine & vessel flangesLarge bolt sizes, three-phase site supply, multiple bolts in sequenceHigh-wattage heater set at site voltage (e.g. 380/400V), sized from the bolt and flange data
Petrochemical pipeline flangesControlled heating replaces open flame, site safety rulesUniform clamp-on heater set; state site safety requirements at RFQ
Heavy machinery assembly & disassemblyConfined spaces, fast heat-up, handlingPortable slip-on heater with heat-resistant cord
Structural steel, bridge & rail jointsOutdoor weather, mechanical durabilityClamp-on build with robust lead protection; wattage matched to bolt grade
