Automotive & Electric Vehicle Solutions
Heating elements and wire harness protection engineered for vehicle production and electromobility.
Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers rely on HDF Industrial for components that perform under vibration, heat, moisture, and tight tolerances. As an IATF 16949 certified factory with more than 20 years of manufacturing experience, we produce flexible heaters, high-density cartridge heaters, and complete conduit systems for conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicle programs — from prototype samples to series production, supported by stock in our Germany and Netherlands warehouses.

Application Scenarios
1. EV Battery Pack Preheating
The challenge: In cold climates, low temperatures reduce battery efficiency, charging speed, and usable range. Thermal management systems need fast, uniform heating across flat or irregular module surfaces without adding weight.
Our solution: Custom silicone rubber heaters produced to your module shape, voltage, and wattage — thin, flexible, and available with self-adhesive mounting or integrated thermostats for battery enclosures and energy storage packs.
2. Engine Bay and High-Voltage Harness Protection
The challenge: Wiring around engines, inverters, and battery management systems must resist heat, oil mist, abrasion, and continuous vibration while remaining fast to assemble on the line.
Our solution: PA6/PA66 plastic corrugated conduit with matched fittings and clips, including split-loom versions for easy branching; stainless steel conduit for the hottest and most exposed routing zones. A complete, compatible system from one supplier.
3. Mold Heating for Automotive Plastic Components
The challenge: Injection molds for connectors, sensor housings, and interior trim need stable, uniform temperatures to avoid warping, sink marks, and scrap.
Our solution: High-density cartridge heaters with tight diameter tolerance for optimum bore contact and heat transfer, in SS304, SS316, or Incoloy sheaths with custom terminations.
4. Thermal Tightening of Heavy Bolted Joints
The challenge: Drivetrain, chassis, and structural joints require controlled bolt elongation where hydraulic tensioners are slow or cannot access the joint.
Our solution: Bolt head heating tubes deliver controlled, repeatable thermal expansion for assembly and maintenance — safer than torch heating and usable in confined spaces, with thermocouple options for process documentation.
