Flange Heating Elements

Flange Heating Elements

Flanged Immersion & Process Heaters for Tanks, Vessels & Pipeline

Our flange heating elements provide robust, high-performance immersion heating for industrial tanks, process vessels, and circulation systems. Precision-welded flanges ensure leak-proof sealing, while premium sheath materials resist corrosion, scaling, and high-temperature degradation across diverse process media.

Applications

• Industrial water heating & storage tanks
• Thermal oil & heat transfer fluid systems
• Chemical processing & reactor heating
• Food & beverage pasteurization
• Pharmaceutical clean-in-place (CIP) systems
• Marine & offshore fuel/oil heating

All flange heaters are manufactured under IATF 16949 and carry CE marking and RoHS compliance.

CE & UL Certified

All heating elements carry CE marking (EU) and UL certification (North America). RoHS and REACH compliant materials standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MOQ for flange heating elements?+

Most flange heaters are engineered to order, so even single-unit orders are accepted for projects, replacements or trials. Batch pricing improves with quantity; any minimum for custom components is confirmed in your quotation.

Can flange size, sheath material and wattage be customized?+

Yes. We build to DIN, ANSI, JIS or custom flanges (round, square or rectangular) in carbon steel, SS304 or SS316. Sheath options include SS304, SS316, SS321, Incoloy and titanium, with single- or three-phase supply and multi-element designs for high system wattage. Built-in thermostat or thermocouple protection and explosion-proof (ATEX) options are available.

Which sheath material fits my liquid?+

It depends on the medium. Clean water commonly uses SS304; softer or more aggressive water and many process liquids call for SS316 or Incoloy; electroplating baths and strongly corrosive chemistries typically require titanium. Always tell us the exact liquid — including pH and additives — so we can recommend a safe material.

Do you provide prototypes or trial units?+

Yes. We can manufacture a first unit to your drawing for testing before serial production. Sample cost and timing depend on specifications such as flange standard and sheath material.

What about certifications for pressure vessels or hazardous areas?+

Flange heating elements are CE marked and RoHS compliant, available under UL file E511579 where required, and produced under IATF 16949. ATEX options are available for explosive atmospheres. Pressure rating depends on the selected flange; share your vessel specification and we will match it.

What is the lead time and shipping arrangement?+

Selected standard configurations can be served from our warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands. Custom flange heaters are produced to order, with delivery depending on specifications and quantity; the lead time is stated on the proforma invoice.

How do you handle payment and warranty?+

Standard terms are T/T, 30% deposit with 70% balance before shipment; other terms can be discussed for established customers. Heaters are warranted against manufacturing defects; damage from dry firing, scale buildup or operation outside the agreed liquid and temperature conditions is not covered.

Selection Guide

Typical Application Key Considerations Recommended Selection Direction
